Why We Do This

This contest series exists to make DIY fiber laser building visible, practical, and shared.

The 2nd edition gives builders a clear path: register, prepare the machine, use official test patterns, publish a project video, and join a public judging process that rewards real machine performance.

01

Build with real parts

Participants use SkyFire and Alleria Store resources to turn component selection into a working machine.

02

Prove the machine

Official cutting patterns make the submission easier to judge and easier for other builders to learn from.

03

Share the result

The Facebook group and public contest pages keep the learning loop open after registration.
